Meet the VHHS’ campus safety team
VHHS’ campus security team works as a coherent unit to ensure staff and students’ safety. On a daily basis, the team checks the entire schools interior and exterior by communication, monitoring, patrolling, and through interactions.
Marc Small checks the security cameras often during the day.
Throughout the day, the cameras are constantly being watched to make sure that the hallways are safe and students are doing what they’re supposed to be in order to protect other students and staff.
The Security Team has a lot to do with the fact that we have such a safe school. There’s constant communication and surveillance to make sure our students and staff are safe and that when we come onto the campus, our safety is top priority.
“We check the parking lots couple times, a least two or three times a day, we're out in the parking lot so we do those things regularly. We check the exterior of the building in the interior of the building making our rounds,” Todd Williams, Campus Safety Team Supervisor explained.
