National Merit Scholarships are awarded to students who receive the highest scores within their state on the PSAT/NMSQT test they take junior year. This year, six seniors from VHHS qualified as National Merit Semifinalists, which means that they have a chance of being awarded a $2,500 single-payment to full-ride scholarship.
