Athletes jump into winter season

The 2021 Winter athletics season is underway. Coming off of an irregular past season, players hit the court once again with masks on. Players reunited with their teammates to compete and create bonds. This year, they are barred by fewer social distancing restrictions than last year’s season.
Grace Koepke (11), returning member of the varsity girls basketball team, has high hopes for this season despite the challenges of last year.
“We’re going to overcome everything that we are faced, and that we’re going to end up being a really good team just because of how dedicated the girls are this year,” said Koepke.
