Fall fashion guide

It’s that time of the year again. Leaves are changing colors, falling , and the cool air changes scorching hot weather into chilly temperatures that call for those extra layers. It’s that time were you want to venture out into the park and capture the beautiful nature of the world as it makes its progression into the cold days of winter. This time is what we formally call, fall. Time to put that tank-top and flippers away and whip out the inevitable: fall fashion.

This time of year starts to cool down a bit, which calls for warmer clothing. Let’s jump into the essentials that everyone needs to acquire this fall season. Fall colors are usually washed out shades of green, orange, and purple. The first step to success is investing in a neutral color jacket. Although black, grey, and dark blue don’t fall on the fall color spectrum, they coordinate perfectly with fall colors. The jacket shouldn’t be too consuming because the fall season isn’t the time to be vibrant or flamboyant. This season is geared for simplicity that partners effortlessly with nature.

After you’ve chosen that subtle jacket, you can make your way into a shirt or sweater. Depending on the temperature of the day, you can substitute one for the other. This is your area of freedom. It’s important to choose the right color shirt because this is what will express you and portray the mood of your outfit. With that, you need to choose a pair of pants that complements your outfit of choice. It is crucial that the pants stay simple enough to avoid taking attention away from the rest of your outfit.

Lastly, we dive into an area of deep water: shoe game. This is beyond the most important step to achieving that modern and stylish  look. Your shoe defines you. If the shoe you decide to wear doesn’t fit your outfit, it will trump any effort you make to look good. A nice pair of high boots speaks to the viewer and suggests diligence and courageousness. A pair of mid-top boots says that you are not only willing to get down and dirty, but that you have class. A choice of dress shoes can be stylish but may also deteriorate the idea of remaining classy whilst staying sassy. In other words, if you are semi casual on top while sporting some sweet Italian dress shoes, they’ll look out of place and cause a distraction.

Lastly, you can choose to top your outfit off with your choice of accessories. These accessories range from anything in between a simple beanie to a leather satchel.
